A stolen car
So today as I was walking outside ready to get into my car, and head over to my aunt's house, I walked down the street, and realized that I was walking much farther down the street then I remember parking... but i continued to walk down the street, thinking perhaps I parked further away than I realized, but I got to the end of the street, and it was not there. So I walked back, thinking perhaps I missed it, but as I walked towards the other end of the street, and still did not see it anywhere, but heart started pounding. I could remember starting to panic, and thinking, "Oh lord, please let it be here, please! Oh God, please don't let this be happening, please!!" So I called my room mate, and asked her if she could drive me around to see if I could find it. And she did. As we drove around we did not see it anywhere on the street, and just then, it hit me; my car was stolen, and that just sunk straight to my stomach, and it felt like my heart was screaming and pleading with reality to twist realty for me.
So Bianca drove me to see Campus Safety, and to cover all possibilities, such as the one that perhaps I got towed away. There was no record, and they called the sheriffs department in to write up a police. The second that I have had to fill out this year.
Later that afternoon, I had an job interview with Campus Safety, and as I headed into the conference room in the back, the secretary started asking me about my car, and short discussion came up between us. During the interview, they asked me if I had had any past experience with the campus safety, and my answer lied with, what happened today, and then what happened a few months ago. Two very traumatic events.. brought up at the interview, so that sucked, but it all worked through.
God will make a way. Faith in him.
